Black-Owned Restaurants in the Lower East Side

|

August is Black Business Month! Join your downtown community by supporting Black-owned businesses this month, and all year long, which is more important now than ever before. Research shows that more than half of Black-owned businesses may not survive COVID-19. One report found 41% of Black-owned businesses have been shuttered by COVID-19 compared to just 17% of white-owned businesses. You can read more here.

To help you support our local Black-owned businesses, we pulled together a list of amazing restaurants in our area.
