Aqua Boxing is designed to improve upper and lower body strength, speed, and balance. Jacob, a certified as a personal trainer and boxing coach, combines boxing techniques like jabs, upper cuts, hooks, crosses, foot work, offense and defensive skills with aqua aerobics.
Every exercise is done in a circuit-style with little to no breaks to give each individual a productive and extremely intense workout experience. This class is for participants with intermediate and advanced fitness levels.
All participants are required to wear a swim cap in the pool. Swim skills are not required.
Free for 14th Street Y members. Non-members can purchase a $25 Day Pass at our Service Desk, which offers full access to the 14th Street Yincluding other fitness classes, a new fitness center, a refreshing pool, and lock rooms, which have brand new saunas!
