Chanan Ben Simon is a Vocalist, Composer and Multimedia artist. Born in Jerusalem and based in Brooklyn, New York. His work is experimental yet heartwarming, expressed through vocal exploration, performance, visual arts and song. His work includes multimedia stage performances (The Unvoiced, Telepresence), TV operas (The Weather Channel, Fire Heart), music albums (Toy Store, Party Tears), installations (Dino Show) alongside writing music for theater, dance and film, and performing new vocal works by various composers.

He holds a B.mus in cross-disciplinary composition from the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance, and an MFA in Performance and Interactive Media Art from Brooklyn College. Alongside his artistic work, Chanan Ben Simon is also Director of LABA NY: a Laboratory for Jewish Culture.
